GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Agape Bells
The Agape Bells is open to anyone high school age and above. Players don't need to be experienced - but, they do need to be able to commit some time to rehearsals. Bells are fun to play - and it's a heartwarming experience to hear a musical piece "come together". Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6:00 downstairs in the David Room. The bells play at the Traditional Service mostly - when "ready" - about 6 times between September and May. If you do not feel you are prepared for this ensemble, there has been a new group called Adult Beginning Bells that will help to prepare you.
Hallelujah Ringers
Hallelujah Ringers is open to children in grades 7 - 12. No experience is needed, but students do have to attend the regular rehearsals as much as possible. In bell music - every person has a bell - and when someone is absent - there is a "hole" in the music. Hallelujah Ringers rehearse Wednesday evenings at 7:30 in the Jerusalem Room. They play "when ready" during the Traditional Service.
Hosanna Ringers
Hosanna Ringers play melody chimes. This group is open to children in grades 3 - 6. As in the above bell groups, attendance at rehearsals is very important. Hosanna Ringers play at Traditional Services "when ready" - and have also played for community events. They rehearse Wednesdays, 7:00 in the Jerusalem Room.
